A thread lift is a procedure that uses a dissolvable suture to tighten, lift, & rejuvenate your skin. It’s a less invasive procedure than surgery with spectacular results.

It is possible to have one area such as the jawline or mid face or a full face & neck.

The barbed threads improve appearance by immediately lifting & tightening. In the coming months, they will also encourage the production of new collagen in the skin to add volume, tighten and rejuvenate skin.

In addition Mono & screw threads for skin and rejuvenation are also included and used in combination.

It is my aim with my clients to give & elegant looking results using the principals of profile balancing. In addition to lifting & restructuring one of the benefits is the change to the skin. I use a combination of different threads from cogs to monos which act as biostimulators. The skin looks tighter, younger, glowy & rejuvenated.

A PDO thread procedure can take from 45 minutes to up to 2 hours for a full face including time for consultation & planning.

We advise clients to have a light meal & refrain from drinking alcohol the night before.

We also suggest no aspirin, vitamin C or blood thinners for 1 week before.

The procedure is relatively pain free.

We use a local anaesthetic lidocaine to numb the face & the injections are the only uncomfortable part. They mildly sting but are rather quick. It takes About Laser Hair Removal for Women (https://www.p-labs.co.uk/) seconds to numb each side of the face.

During the procedure my clients are talking, smiling & relaxed and always surprised at how little they feel.

You will occasionally see some mild swelling & bruising on some clients ( this tends to be on extremely fair patients or those over 60) but this resolves fairly quickly & all clients receive an aftercare pack to speed up the healing process.
